Dec 3rd Folkdance workshop/practice update


Folkdance workshop/practice on Dec. 3rd at Taylor Ranch Community Center is cancelled just for this session only. The workshop will continue to it's normal schedule on Dec. 17th at 12:30PM. For more info contact Evelio at evelio@fafnm.org.

Simbang Gabi at Prince of Peace Catholic Church

Fr. Joel Bugas, our Filipino priest who has been assigned to 5 parishes in the Chama area, announced that he will be saying the Simbang Gabi /Misa de Gallo Masses at -Prince of Peace Catholic Church this year. Please pass this message to all your friends and family.


Wed., Nov. 30- 7:00 pm - Finger food snacks/social
Wed., Dec. 7 – 7:00 pm
- Finger food snacks/social
Wed., Dec. 14 -7:00pm - Finger food snacks/social

The final Mass-

Sunday, Dec. 18 at 10:30 am at Prince of Peace followed by Filipino food lunch catered by Annie Bondoc ($6.00 donation). After expenses, the money will be donated to Fr. Joel’s parishes.

Volunteers are needed to bring snack foods on the 3 Wednesdays only and to bring drinks on Sunday Dec. 18th. Please notify Emilie 255-2060 and/or Tessie Centenera 962-2088 as to what you will be bringing and on which date.

Directions to Prince of Peace:
Located off of Tramway just north of Paseo Del Norte. Proceed south on Tramway, turn right onto Live Oak Rd, turn left onto Tennyson, turn right onto Carmel.

Driving north on Tramway, turn left onto Live Oak, left onto Tennyson,
Right onto Carmel.

PH CONSULATE HOLIDAY NOTICE – 24, 25 & 30 NOVEMBER 2011
Los Angeles, 9 November 2011 – The Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles will be closed to the public in observance of the following Philippine and U.S. holidays:


24 November 2011 (Thursday): Thanksgiving Day (U.S.)
25 November 2011 (Friday): Day After Thanksgiving Day
30 November 2011 (Wednesday): Bonifacio Day (PH)


On 25 November 2011, OAV registration will remain OPEN but the Consulate will be CLOSED for regular consular services.
Regular consular services will resume on the next business day.
