Tyler Hartom, son of Blesila and Kirk Hartom, has been a wrestler since he could barely walk. Tagging along with his dad who was a wrestling coach for Highland HS Hornets at that time, he evolved into participating exercises and practices. Tyler became a champion at the age of 4, beating all 4 year olds in New Mexico and then winning against 4 year olds in the Southwest. He is a humble kid who earned countless medals and trophies covering the walls in his room at home. At 16, he has won placements in tournaments both regional and national events from Florida to Denver to Las Vegas, not to mention within the state of New Mexico. Just most recently, December 8th 2007, he placed second in an invitational in Las Cruces, NM. Tyler attends St. Pius HS in Albuquerque.
